1F Toneable Flat Drop cable 4.5×10.1mm offers a compact and lightweight yet rugged cable that offers the durability needed for outside plant use along with the flexibility required for
tight bends inside residences. This cable construction begins with a single-fiber OFNR 3.0 mm Ruggedized EZ-Bend cordage that forms the fiber core. Two fiberglass rods are added, diametrically opposite, on either side of the fiber core. A 24 AWG copper wire is aligned along the outside edge of one of the fiberglass rods to provide locatability.The locating wire, strength member rods, and fiber core are then encapsulated in a durable polyethylene (PE) jacket to create a flat cable cross section and lend added protection to the cable core.

This Mini toneable flat drop cable offers a compact, durable, and easy-to-locate optical fiber solution in a readily accessible construction. The fiber optic cable’s webbed design is for self-supporting, direct-buried and duct installations. Ideal for drop applications, offering ease of access as well as easy installation.

Dual Purpose Design:
