Fibras \u00f3pticas de 250 um s\u00e3o inseridas em um tubo solto feito de poli\u00e9ster de alto m\u00f3dulo e preenchido com membros de refor\u00e7o n\u00e3o met\u00e1licos (FRP) ao redor do centro do cabo para formar um n\u00facleo redondo. A lacuna no n\u00facleo \u00e9 preenchida com pomada bloqueadora de \u00e1gua.
