Para construir el cable, se coloca un amortiguador apretado de 0,9 mm en el medio del cable y se colocan dos varillas de fibra de vidrio diametralmente opuestas a cada lado del n\u00facleo de fibra, lo que proporciona una excelente resistencia al aplastamiento y a la tracci\u00f3n durante la instalaci\u00f3n y durante la vida \u00fatil del cable. Se alinea un cable de cobre de 24 AWG a lo largo del borde exterior de una de las varillas de fibra de vidrio para proporcionar ubicabilidad.
