Um das Kabel zu konstruieren, wird eine G657A1- oder G657A2-SM-Faser in der geometrischen Mitte der schmetterlingsf\u00f6rmigen Form platziert. Zwei parallele St\u00e4be aus glasfaserverst\u00e4rktem Kunststoff (GFRP) werden diametral gegen\u00fcberliegend auf beiden Seiten des Faserkerns platziert. Um eine Luftinstallation zu erreichen. F\u00fcr eine hohe Zugfestigkeit wird dem Kabel ein verseilter Nachrichtendraht aus Metall hinzugef\u00fcgt.
